Okay, here it is, my first blog post ever. Although trite, the name of this blog is a bit more specific for me. A lot of things have been happening in my life lately ~ some good, some bad ~ and I know that a lot of major changes are starting right now. Along with having a place to vent, I need to practice writing every day for an upcoming anthology I am honored to have been asked to contribute to. I will be sharing a little bit of that process here, especially the frustrations! I've been a "writer" throughout my career as a paralegal, and I've written a few short stories and poems, but only for myself and friends, and not for publication. Writing legal briefs is cold, precise, and technical; I would now like to turn my ideas into thought-provoking, interesting nuggets for more general consumption.
That's it for the first post. I'm going to try and keep these short and interesting, and if you decide to follow me now, at least you don't have to go back and read months and months of posts to get caught up! I hope you and I can benefit in some way from mere words.
